FirstKey could be expanded into a fully functional platform with real-time property data integration, user accounts for saving and comparing listings, and AI-powered recommendations based on search history. Adding features like virtual tours, mortgage calculators, and secure in-app messaging would further enhance the user experience and streamline the decision-making process.
What I Learned
Through this project, I gained hands-on experience in designing for mobile-first responsiveness, maintaining visual consistency, and applying design principles such as clarity and hierarchy. I also learned how to translate user needs into actionable UI components, structure a design system, and balance minimalism with the need for comprehensive information. The process reinforced the importance of iterative design, user-centric thinking, and clear communication in creating an intuitive product experience.
